The garden is fully enclosed and there are miles of great walks right from the door. The East coast with its dog friendly beaches is a short drive across the moors.
We send a comprehensive list of our local dog friendly pubs when we confirm your reservation. There is a good choice of places nearby where dogs are welcome to sit by or under your table whilst you tuck in. At some pubs you’ll even find the staff may have a few treats on hand for any visiting four legged friends!
A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge. We just ask that they are not left alone in The Hayloft and please remember to bring a towel to dry off muddy paws.
Please be aware that we have some hens and guinea fowl that are free to wander in the garden and courtyard too.
If you have any queries at all about bringing your dog to stay in The Hayloft at Flamborough Rigg please don’t hesitate to call us on 01751 475263.
We stayed in The Hayloft at Flamborough Rigg over Christmas. The cottage is immaculate, beautifully presented and comfortable, with everything you could need for self catering. The views and surroundings are lovely, with many walks on the doorstep, ideal for our two dogs, and the owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making the cottage work for visitors with dogs. We would definitely book again.

Our puppy was made to feel very welcome too - the garden was enclosed so he was free to run around .... Take your walking shoes, you won't be disappointed!

We have just returned from a lovely break at this excellent cottage. We've self catered a lot but this was by far the best appointed cottage we've stayed in. Spotlessly clean, with extra touches such as fresh flowers, and biscotti, plus a breakfast hamper and biscuits for the dog! Great location for dog walking being on the edge of Cropton forest and footpaths straight from the door. Fully enclosed garden is a lovely sun trap and the views are fab. Thank you for a perfect end to the summer hols.

This is the first time we have been away with our very boisterous, very large, 2 year old chocolate Labrador - we were therefore quite anxious that he should be made welcome - we need not have worried. Caroline and Phil made it clear from the start that our dog was welcome and he had free use of their lovely garden.
